Leading Teens Closer to Christ
The OLL Youth Ministries include the Edge and Life Teen ministries - Edge for Jr. High teens, and Life Teen for High School aged teens.
At Our Lady of the Lake, teens participate in a variety of fun and inspiring activities. We stay busy with weekly meetings, Blazer games, a corn maze, service projects, retreats to the beach and mountains, and two rallies with over 700 people attending from all over the archdiocese.
The Spirit is really moving. We have more teens, volunteers and parents involved than ever before. We will again include opportunities to explore our faith, serve those in need, connect with our Catholic brothers and sisters, and worship with the greater church. The Fall calendars for Life Teen and Edge have been mailed, but if we missed you let us know!

High School Teens have lots going on.
That's why we have revamped the H.S. Ministry to fit every teens schedule and provide them a safe place to ask questions about their faith, build community, and serve our neighbors. This is done through the sub-ministries:
Life Teen Nights:
frequently meets after the 6 PM LT Mass from 7 PM-8:45 PM.
LT Impact:
drop in opportunity for teens to make an impact on their life or others. Includes service projects, rallies, retreats, socials, on campus events, concerts and more.
LT Ambassadors: Believe. Serve. Lead.
These Juniors and Seniors are being formed into leaders by serving the Edge, Confirmation, Life Teen programs as well as the greater parish and community.
Liturgical Ministries:
the opportunity to serve our parish family through altar serving, music, lecturing, ushering, and being a Eucharistic Minister.Life Teen is an international Catholic movement that serves the Church by providing resources and faith experiences that help lead teens closer to Christ. This is accomplished through a vibrant Eucharistic spirituality and by creating opportunities for teens to grow in their faith.
About Edge
Edge is a Catholic youth ministry for early adolescents. At Our Lady of the Lake, junior high youth participate in a variety of fun and inspiring activities designed to meet their catechetical, educational, spiritual, emotional and social needs. Edge approaches catechesis to Junior High youth using the Life Teen model. Participants are brought into a large-group environment for gathering activities, teachings and prayer. In small groups, they break open the teachings and build solid, Christ-centered relationships that allow them to comfortably explore their Catholic faith and make it relevant to their everyday lives.
All 7th and 8th Graders are welcome.
