Building the Future...

Beginning 45 years ago the Bonney family (which now includes MacMillan & Rayburn) came into the OLL parish. Being active Church and School members - from Knights of Columbus to School Board to Eucharistic Ministers, Catechists, Parent Association, and even one generation starting the school auction to the next generation running the auction - this parish is part of our family fabric. We have celebrated baptisms, weddings, confirmations, graduations and funerals at Our Lady of the Lake.  Both the 2nd and 3rd generations have attended the parish school.  Throughout the years the faith community and friendships we all have formed here have made our lives meaningful and have provided the support through all life's ups and downs.  To us, the new building symbolizes the future. We have reaped the benefits of the dedication and sacrifices of those who came before us. It's our turn now to build for future generations. We are proud to be able to be a part of the Building in Faith capital campaign.

Old Car New Donor

Doug Graham donates his Car

Donating this vehicle to Our Lady of the Lake was an easy choice and an easy solution to getting rid of the extra car in our driveway. It may have taken us weeks to sell my father's old car, not to mention the hassle of running an ad and showing the car to prospective buyers. Just one phone call and a form to fill out and Charity Connection took care of the rest. The best part is the donation will help to build our new School and Parish Center.

Maximizing our Resources...

David, Connor, Trevor, Alex and Nathan Gewant

When we heard about the Capital Campaign and were asked to participate, we knew we wanted to maximize our gift and looked for ways to do this.  A company-matching gift seemed like a great way to contribute more than we could have with our own resources. It was very easy to process this through Human Resources at David's company and found out they would match up to $5,000 annually. Spreading our gift out over several years also helped us to make a more sizable contribution. Please consider these options and help our parish reach it's Building in Faith goal. Thank you and God Bless!
