Our Lady of Lake honors Sisters of the Holy Names
Every year Our Lady of the Lake School of Lake Oswego honors outstanding contributors on its Alumni Day.
They don't come any more outstanding than the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. After all, the sisters were the ones who founded the school in 1938.

On Feb. 3, the school honored the Sisters with a special mass, which included teachers, parents and all 223 students in the school.
"We have been inspired by your courage, wisdom and faith," school principal Joan Codd told the 17 sisters who were on hand for the occasion. "We are deeply grateful. We are committed to keeping the sisters' mission alive with commitment to academic excellence and development of the whole person."
