John and Marsha Kleinheinz

John & MarshaJohn is the founder and president of Kleinheinz Capital Partners, the investment advisor for the Global Undervalued Securities Fund, a global-macro themed hedge fund with nearly $2 billion in assets under management.
After graduating from Stanford University in 1984 with a degree in Economics, John began his career as an investment banker, working in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions for Nomura Securities in Tokyo and Merrill Lynch in New York/London.

In 1993, he moved from London to his wife Marsha's hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. In January 1996, he started his own hedge fund, the Global Undervalued Securities Fund, which invests in various international financial markets including Russia, Japan, Brazil and the Middle East. In addition, John is also an active telecom and energy investor in both private and public markets.

John's wife, Marsha Harrison, is a Fort Worth native and graduate of Southern Methodist University. She is very active in the local community, dedicating her time to such causes as The Warm Place, Alliance for Infant Survival, KERA, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. She also serves on the Visiting Committee for the Amon Carter Museum in Fort Worth and on the Board of Directors for Gill Children's Services.

John (originally from Oregon) and Marsha enjoy snow skiing in Taos, New Mexico, and summers on the Oregon coast near Cannon Beach. They have three children: daughter, Marguerite, a sophomore at SMU, and sons Burke (17) and William (13) who attend Fort Worth Country Day School.

John is a graduate of Our Lady of the Lake School, class of 1976, and Jesuit High School, class of 1980. His parents John and Jane Kleinheinz have seven children and are parishioners of Our Lady of the Lake Church. They serve as the Honorary Chairs of the Building in Faith capital campaign for Our Lady of the Lake Parish and School.

"Over the last 50 years, the teachers and students of Our Lady of the Lake School have loved that building to death, and now with the economy weak and construction costs down, it is a great time to re-build her," John Kleinheinz, class of 1976.
