October 10, 2011: The steel instalation is complete. The concrete slab for the second floor will be poured later this month. The Interior Rough In (walls) will begin next week. It is starting to look like a real building.
September 18, 2011: Beam signing, over 100 families came to sign one of the main steel beams in the building with prayers and inspiration.
September 14, 2011: Steel beams and Crane arrive.
August 31, 2011: Foundation of the main building is pored
August 15, 2011: Gym Walls are going up.
August 3, 2011:Foundation of the Gym was pored
June 15, 2011: Demolition of the building began early in the morning and lasted most of the day. Materials from the demolished building will be sorted and much of the debris will be recycled.
June 13, 2011: Trees and bushes will be removed in preparation for the demolition of the old convent later this week.
June 12, 2011: Ground Breaking Ceremony for Phase Two, construction of the Parish Center and Educational Facility was held on a sunny afternoon with over 200 guests in attendance.
June 9, 2011: The Blessed Mother Statue which has adorned A Avenue in Lake Oswego for nearly 55 years was removed June 8-9 to make preparation for the construction this summer. The statue will be stored during the year long construction phase, at which time she will be cleaned and examined for minor repairs.
June 1, 2011: Abatement of the parish office (old convent) was completed in May 2011 in preparation for demolition in June.
